Overview
Created for outdoor aerial imaging, the CrystalSky monitor features an ultra-bright screen that is clearly visible in sunlight. It is designed from the ground up to work seamlessly with the DJI GO app, giving camera operators total control.
Ultra-Bright
A maximum 1000 cd/m² of brightness for 5.5” CrystalSky monitor means it is more than four times as bright as typical mobile devices. On-screen details are clear and sharp, and colors are vibrant, giving the quality needed to fine tune image composition. A dedicated Sunlight Readability Enhancement mode is especially designed for processing the image in real-time to ensure more comfortable viewing under bright light.
Smoother Video Display
The CrystalSky monitor uses optimized video decoding to decode video in real-time. Due to limitations in software access on smartphones and tablets, video decoding in other smart devices is less than ideal. When used to view photos or videos transmitted by the camera, problems can occur including video jitter, long latency and more. The CrystalSky monitor’s optimized decoder provides smooth, real-time video with minimal latency.
Customized System and DJI GO
A newly designed system removes unnecessary Android apps and services and is resistant to viruses and junk software. This ensures that the CrystalSky monitor is able to offer optimum performance at all times. Its embedded DJI GO app provides full access to all DJI GO features including aircraft parameter adjustment, camera control, footage management, and playback. Using offline maps, maps can be kept available even if going out of Wi-Fi reach.
Power Supply
A two cell 4920 mAh secondary external battery gives the CrystalSky monitor a longer operating time than comparable mobile devices. It supports quick charge, and controls its discharge rate well even in low temperatures. Used with the 5.5" and 7.85" screens, it can achieve a maximum operation time of 4-5 hours and 5-6 hours respectively.
Dual SD Card Slots
Equipped with dual micro SD card slots, the CrystalSky monitor’s storage can be extended, or footage recorded on a micro SD card can be played back directly on the monitor. It can also be used for footage backups. Using editors built in DJI GO, high-quality edits can be made quickly and instantly shared to social media. The CrystalSky monitor supports H.264 and H.265 video decoding, allowing it to play back these files at 30 fps and 60 fps respectively. These videos can also be output through its HDMI port.
Ports and Network
The CrystalSky monitor’s HDMI port allows up to 4K video to be output to FPV goggles and other display devices. Built-in dual band Wi-Fi means it can connect to Wi-Fi networks and Wi-Fi hotspots from mobile devices, and it is also compatible with 4G dongles and USB storage through its USB-A port. When connected to the internet, the CrystalSky monitor gets easy access to system upgrades, livestreaming, photo or video sharing, data synchronization and more. File sizes are optimized as much as possible to minimize mobile data demands. Onboard micro USB and USB-C ports make it convenient to connect the CrystalSky monitor with a remote controller or other devices.

The Inspire 1 was a revelation. The first filmmaking drone in the world to integrate an HD video transmission system, 360° rotating gimbal and a 4K camera, as well as the simplicity of app control. The launches of the Zenmuse X5 and X5R cameras further cemented the Inspire as a critical tool for filmmakers around the globe. The Inspire 2 takes everything that was good about the Inspire 1 and improves it. An all-new image processing system records at up to 5.2K in CinemaDNG RAW, Apple ProRes and more. It goes from 0 to 50mph (80kph) in just 4 seconds and hits a maximum speed of 67mph (108kph) and has a max descent speed of 9m/s for unheard of speed and agility in an aircraft this size. A dual battery system prolongs the flight time to a maximum of 25 minutes (with an X5S), while self-heating technology allows it to fly even in low temperatures. FlightAutonomy has been revised and developed specifically for the Inspire 2, providing two directions of obstacle avoidance and sensor redundancy. Increased intelligence adds multiple intelligent flight modes, including Spotlight Pro, giving even single pilots the ability to create complex, dramatic shots. An upgraded video transmission system is now capable of dual signal frequency and dual channel, streaming video from an onboard FPV camera and the main camera simultaneously, for better pilot and camera operator collaboration.
Professional Image Quality
Integrated into the Inspire 2 is the brand new CineCore 2.0 image processing system, capable of recording 5.2K videos in CinemaDNG, Apple ProRes and more. CineCore 2.0 is built into the aircraft nose and works with any camera connected through the dedicated gimbal port. (Currently compatible with X4S and X5S).
1. CinemaDNG: 5.2K (5280*2972, 16:9) 30fps 12bit, 4.2Gbps / 4K (4096*2160, 17:9) 60fps 10bit, 4.0Gbps.
2. 264 / H.265: Built-in 3D noise reduction, 3DLUT color management technology, advanced sensor correction. H.264/AVC BP/MP/HP Level 5.1: 4K 60fps, 100Mbps / H.265 MP Level 5.1: 4K 30fps, 100Mbps.

4. Stills: JPEG/DNG/JPEG+DNG 14fps in burst 20.8MP (Photos Stored on Micro-SD Card) / DNG 20fps continuous burst 20.8MP (Photos Stored on DJI CINESSD).
Efficient Workflow
The Inspire 2 creative workflow has been completely optimized and is now capable of recording video in CinemaDNG and Apple ProRes, and other common formats for post-production in filmmaking. Also supported are FAT32/exFAT (Coming Soon) file systems, which allow fast copying of files direct from the CINESSD without additional software.
Sense and Avoid
Forward and downward vision systems enable the Inspire 2 to detect obstacles up to 30 meters ahead, allowing for protected flight at up to 34mph (54kph) at a controllable attitude angle of 25°. Upward facing infrared sensors scan obstacles 16ft (5m) above, adding protection when flying in enclosed spaces. Obstacle sensing systems are active during normal flight, RTH and all Intelligent Flight Modes. These sensors are core components of the DJI FlightAutonomy system.
Spotlight Pro
Spotlight Pro is a powerful tracking mode that allows even single pilots to capture complex, dramatic images. It uses advanced visual tracking algorithms to lock onto a subject during flight, regardless of the direction that the Inspire 2 flies, creating shots that would once have required a dedicated camera operator. If the gimbal comes close to reaching its rotation limits, the Inspire 2 itself will rotate in the same direction without affecting flight control or the shot being captured to free up gimbal movement.
It has two shooting modes, Quick Mode and Composition Mode. In Quick Mode, select an object to begin tracking. In Composition Mode, select the subject and the tracking position. When the subject enters the preset tracking position, press the shortcut to begin tracking. The gimbal can be moved during shooting for composition adjustments. Spotlight Pro is available in all Intelligent Flight Modes including ActiveTrack, TapFly, Waypoint and Point of Interest.
Intelligent Flight Modes
In addition to Spotlight Pro, a range of other intelligent flight and shooting modes are available. Obstacle avoidance is optimized when using Point of Interest (Coming Soon) and Waypoint (Coming Soon) modes, making complex shots simple and repeatable. Also available are QuickSpin, TapFly and ActiveTrack, to simplify challenging shots.
1. TapFly: The 2-axis onboard FPV camera separates the flight view from the main camera view, effectively giving the Inspire 2 a dedicated TapFly camera. Tap a point onscreen in the FPV view to set a flight route and the Inspire 2 will automatically fly along that route, leaving the pilot to focus on gimbal movement.
2. ActiveTrack: The ActiveTrack Mode allows the Inspire 2 to recognize a range of objects, from people to bikes to cars to boats. Tracking profiles that can be adjusted based on the subject being tracked means greater tracking precision.
Smart Return to Home
Forward and downward vision systems allow the Inspire 2 to create a real-time map of its flight route as it flies. If the video transmission system signal is lost and Smart Return Home is enabled, it is able to fly home along its original route, and change to a straight line when it regains a signal. As it returns, it will use the primary camera to identify obstacles as far as 200m in front, allowing it to plan a safe route home. It is also able to reconnect more quickly after losing connection.
Optimized Transmission and Control System
The latest update to DJI Lightbridge technology has an effective transmission distance of up to 4.3mi (7km) and is capable of delivering both 1080p/720p video as well as the FPV view to pilot and camera operator. Users can also switch between 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz control frequencies to cut through noise for greater signal stability.
1. Master and Slave Controllers: A new wireless HD image transmission technology sends video information from the master controller to the slave controller and the two controllers can be up to 100m apart without loss of image quality.
2. Broadcast Mode: Broadcasters can broadcast direct from the Inspire 2 using its dedicated 1080i50 and 720p60 transmission signal. Aerial live-streaming direct to TV is as simple as connecting the Inspire 2 remote controller to the satellite truck.
Powerful Flight Performance
A new propulsion system optimized for power creates a new level of flight performance. The Inspire 2 flies at up to 67mph (108kph), descends at 9m/s and climbs at 6m/s. It can accelerate from 0 to 50mph (80kph) in just four seconds and flies at a max attitude angle of 40°.
The two controller sticks are tuned for more sensitivity, making delicate maneuvers easier.
More power also allows the Inspire 2 to fly in more extreme conditions, including over 2500-5000m above sea level (using optional dedicated propellers), and in temperatures as low as -4°F (-20°C) using self-heating Intelligent Flight Batteries.
Increased Reliability
Reliability has been further enhanced through dual redundancy of key modules such as the IMU and barometer. The intelligent flight control system monitors the redundancy system, giving it accurate flight data.
The new obstacle sensing system helps the Inspire 2 sense and avoid obstacles, minimizing the risk of collision.
Dual batteries mean that if a problem occurs on one battery the other is able to continue flight long enough for a safe landing. At the same time, the Inspire 2 propulsion system is driven a PWM signal with serial port signal redundancy so that if PWM signals are lost, transmission will continue through the serial port.
This propulsion system has been tested for thousands of hours to ensure reliability, when combined with key sensors and a dual-battery design, overall flight reliability is significantly enhanced.

The Vivid Collection for the DJI Mavic Pro contains rotatable ND4/PL, ND8/PL, and ND16/PL filters for reducing the camera's shutter speed, removing glare, and increasing colour saturation.
The PolarPro VIVID Collection Filter 3-Pack is part of a new Cinema Series™ line, using the highest-grade glass and coatings on the market. The Cinema Series™ is for pilots who demand the absolute best.
Each filter is precisely manufactured with PolarPro’s AirFrame™ design making each filter ultra-light for smooth gimbal operation. The Cinema Series™ VIVID Collection for the Mavic Pro comes with a lifetime warranty, guaranteeing it will last longer than your drone.
See chart below for a general guide on when ND filters should be applied. The goal of this chart is to reduce the camera’s shutter speed to 1/60th to give areal videos a smooth cinematic look, rather than a choppy high shutter speed look. A popular way of filming areal video is to have your shutter speed at double the frame rate. So if you are shooting 1080/60, then you want to try to achieve a 1/120th shutter speed. Or if filming 4K/30 or 24 you will want to be near 1/60th shutter speed.
For more detailed information on how to use ND Filters with your drone, read our filter guide.
PolarPro Cinema Series Filters from PolarPro on Vimeo.
ND4/PL Filter (5.67g): This filter reduces the cameras shutter speed by 2 f-stops and polarizes light. We use this filter most often when filming at dusk or dawn, or on cloudy days.
ND8/PL Filter (5.6g): The ND8/PL for the Mavic will reduce the cameras shutter speed by 3 f-stops which makes this the perfect filter for partly cloudy days. The build in polarizer reduces glare and increases color saturation.
ND16/PL Filter (5.6g): This is our go to filter when it is sunny out. It reduces the shutter speed by 4 stops and polarizes the scene for capturing vivid colors even on bright sunny days.
For more detailed information on how to use ND Filters with your drone, read this filter guide.

The Mavic Pro Platinum features a sleek design and compact body that is both powerful and alluring. A new and improved 30-minute flight time coupled with 60% noise reduction makes the Mavic Pro Platinum DJI’s best portable drone yet.
Enhanced Endurance, Quieter Flight
The Mavic Pro Platinum features a sleek design and compact body that is both powerful and alluring. A new and improved 30-minute flight time coupled with 60% noise reduction makes the Mavic Pro Platinum DJI’s best portable drone yet.
The 8331 propellers have a brand new aerodynamic design giving the Mavic Pro series an impressive noise control performance. When used with the Mavic Pro Platinum, up to 4dB (60%) of aircraft noise is lowered during takeoff and landing, and flight time is extended to 30 minutes. Noise reduction and flight time are also enhanced when used with the Mavic Pro, but not as much. The 8331 Propellers cannot be used with the Mavic Propeller Cage.
This piece of equipment marks a new era in technology for the drone world. With its unique folding design, the Mavic is so small it can fit inside the palm of your hand. We really like this drone as it’s very easy to use and set’s up in a matter of seconds.
Mavic Pro Combo Features
The "Fly More" Combo offers even better value to beginners and experienced pilots alike, including everything you need for a successful flight: extra batteries, extra propellers, car charger and Mavic Shoulder Bag.
The biggest plus is obviously its size. It can fit in your back pocket and taken with you on your travels without any troubles. Compare this with the Phantom Series drones and you’ll be hauling a big backpack around.
Although the Mavic Pro is small, it definitely doesn’t lack in camera quality. The Mavic boasts a 4k enabled 12 mega pixel camera utilizing a 1/2” sensor. The camera is basically the same as the Phantom 4 Series however, the Mavic's Field of View is narrower, which is a bit of a down side.
AT A GLANCE
WHAT THE PROS SAY ABOUT THE MAVIC PRO:
"There’s a reason the Mavic Pro is so popular; because it ticks nearly every box a drone enthusiast wants, small, compact, easy to fly, great battery life and a good quality camera! I recommend the Mavic to everyone thinking of purchasing one. You’ll be pleasantly surprised how much punch they pack into such a tiny drone".

Meet the Zenmuse X5, the world's first mirrorless, compact M4/3 camera made specifically for aerial photography and cinematography. Designed to work with the DJI Inspire 1 ready-to-fly platform, the Zenmuse X5 packs a powerful sensor that's capable of recording 4K videos at up to 30fps and capturing still images at 16MP. Equipped with the standard MFT interchangeable lens mount and allowing full wireless remote control over focus, aperture, and more, the Zenmuse X5 lets you shoot the way you want. Welcome to the future of aerial imaging.
Increased Dynamic Range
With 12.8 stops of dynamic range, shadows and highlights in everything you capture is brought out in perfect clarity.
Greater Pixel Clarity
Shooting with the Zenmuse X5's M4/3 sensor results in images that are crisper and more detailed than any previous aerial camera. When compared with the X3 camera with the original Inspire 1, the difference is clear in images that truly come to life.
Revoluntionary Sensor
Built inside the Zenmuse X5 is a powerful Micro Four Thirds sensor that’s absolutely revolutionary for an aerial camera. With a sensor eight times the size of that in the previous X3 camera included with the Inspire 1, this new MFT sensor enables high quality, high sensitivity image recording at an ISO range of 100-25600. With a sophisticated balance of high-resolving power, accurate gradation, and low noise, you are realizing your artistic and creative vision as never before.
Ready to Fly
Say goodbye to frustratingly long setups. The Zenmuse X5 is perfectly compatible with the Inspire 1, DJI's professional, ready to fly aerial platform. Instantly ready and bringing a level of control and convenience that only a fully integrated system can provide, you have a combination of imaging prowess and ease-of-use that is unprecedented in any aerial imaging system.
Take Control
With the Zenmuse X5, you have an unprecedented level of control right at your fingertips. In the intuitive auto-focus mode, simply tap on the screen of your mobile device to tell the camera to focus on a specific area. You can also easily manually change settings such as focus, shutter, and aperture through the user-friendly DJI GO App. With the Zenmuse X5, you are always ready to take control.
Unparalleled Stabilization
Thanks to DJI's unparalleled expertise in stabilization systems, the Zenmuse X5 is equipped with a realiable 3-axis gimbal that automatically stabilize your camera in flight. The gimbal constantly communicates with the aircraft, and quickly compensates for every minor movement. As a result, the Zenmuse X5 produces silky smooth footage and sharp photos even with long exposure no matter how you fly.
Interchangeable Lens Mount
As the world's first Micro Four Thirds camera made specifically for aerial photography and videography, the Zenmuse X5 gives you the freedom to choose your lens. By utilizing the standard MFT mount, one of the most popular lens systems in the camera industry, the Zenmuse X5 is well positioned to benefit from new products and innovations from major lens manufacturers.
DJI GO App
Control the Zenmuse X5 remotely with the same DJI GO app that is used with the Inspire 1. WIth a live HD view powered by DJI Lightbridge, you see exactly what the camera is capturing and can adjust every setting on the fly.
Built to Last
The Zenmuse X5 is precisely manufactured with high-grade magnesium alloys, enabling it to withstand heavy field use. Compact and lightweight to allow easy transportation and long flight times, the Zenmuse X5 is built to last.
Precise Focus Control
As you fly, focus can be remotely adjusted using the GO app or the DJI Focus system. Simply plug this new follow focus into the remote to have an accurate, familiar physical focus ring that controls the way your shots look.

Overview
Equipped with an uprated Micro 4/3 sensor, the Zenmuse X5S has a dynamic range of 12.8 stops with a much improved signal to noise ratio and color sensitivity than the X5R. It supports up to eight standard M4/3 lenses (including zoom lenses) with focal lengths ranging from 9mm-45mm (equivalent to 18mm-90mm on a 35mm camera), allowing more creative flexibility. The new CineCore 2.0 image processing system on the Inspire 2 makes the Zenmuse X5S capable of capturing 5.2K 30fps CinemaDNG video and Apple ProRes video as well as 4K 60fps using H.264 and 4K 30fps using H.265 (both at 100Mbps). Continuous DNG burst shooting at 20fps with 20.8MP images is also supported. The Zenmuse X5S was designed to keep pace with the rigors of high-end professional aerial imaging.
Inspire 2 Aerial Imaging
Compared with the Inspire 1, the Inspire 2 utilizes an innovative structure that separates the CineCore 2.0 image processing system from the camera and places it inside the aircraft. This means that the sensor and optical system are detachable and easily connected using a newly designed quick-release connector. Designing the camera system in this way effectively protects the sensor from magnetic interference originating from the processor. It also allows a range of lightweight camera units to be connected as required by different scenes. The uprated M4/3 sensor — and support for interchangeable lenses — allows the Zenmuse X5S to capture high resolution images of incredibly high quality, when combined with the extraordinary CineCore 2.0 image processing system.
Improved Micro 4/3 Sensor
The onboard Micro 4/3 sensor has been upgraded, significantly improving image quality. With a pixel size of 3.4μm, this 20.8-megapixel sensor captures more detail than the previous sensor. It has 12.8 stops of dynamic range as well as a better signal to noise ratio and color sensitivity than the X5R, allowing it to create clear, low noise images in low light environments.
Array of Compatible Lenses
Since it uses a standard Micro 4/3 mount, the Zenmuse X5S now supports up to eight professional lenses including DJI MFT 15mm/1.7 ASPH, Panasonic Lumix 15mm/1.7, Panasonic Lumix 14-42mm/3.5-5.6 HD, Olympus M.Zuiko 9-18mm/4.0-5.6, Olympus M.Zuiko 12mm/2.0, Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm/1.8, Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm/1.8 and Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm/1.8 with focal lengths ranging from 9mm-45mm (equivalent to 18mm-90mm on a 35mm camera), providing more creative control over the final look of a shot.
Hollywood-Grade Video
Using CineCore 2.0, the Zenmuse X5S records video at a maximum resolution of 5.2K/30fps in CinemaDNG 12bit, 5.2K 30fps Apple ProRes 422 HQ and 4K 30fps Apple ProRes 4444 XQ (no alpha)2. Additional recording options include video in 4K/60fps using H.264 or oversampling video in 4K/30fps using H.264/H.265, both with a bitrate of 100Mbps.

Fast, Efficient Workflows
The DJI CINESSD card (PCIe3.0 NVMe SSD support) and a highly optimized FAT32/exFAT file system, allows Zenmuse X5S footage to be transferred directly through the DJI CINESSD STATION card reader to a computer at high speeds without any additional software. Footage also supports the DIT standard. CinemaDNG or Apple ProRes workflows can be used for post-processing.
Lossless In-Video Single and Burst Photo Capture
Using only the SD card, 20.8MP stills can be captured at 14fps in Burst Mode in JPEG+DNG. Using the DJI CINESSD opens up 20fps continuous DNG Burst Mode with a maximum image resolution of 20.8 megapixels. Stills can also be taken during video recording without interruption.
Enhanced Camera Stabilization
Stabilizing the Zenmuse X5S is a highly optimized 3-axis gimbal with pinpoint-precise motor rotation with a control accuracy of ±0.01° powered by a dedicated processor. Rather than rely on electrical slip rings — as is common with many gimbals — the Zenmuse X5S uses a unique mechanically limited design and concealed wires to ensure more stable data transmission and greater durability. Vibration is eliminated using three damping balls and a lightweight damping board, creating seamlessly smooth video. 360° rotation remains possible through gimbal rotation and smooth aircraft yaw. Stable, smooth footage1 can be captured even when using a 90mm2 lens.
Long-Range Camera and Focus Control
Take control over every camera setting from afar, including focus, aperture, and format, directly in the DJI GO app. Precision control also extends to focus, with DJI GO and the optional DJI Focus, offering focus control across the entire transmission range. Using DJI Focus, no additional cables or motors are needed and new Lightbridge technology sends all signals as far as 4.3mi (7km) away.

Put more simply, the ND filter helps avoid overexposed photos.
The ND4 filter allows 1/4 of incoming light through, equal to a 2-stop filter.
The ND8 filter allows 1/8 of incoming light through, equal to a 3-stop filter.
The ND16 filter allows 1/16 of incoming light through, equal to a 4-stop filter.
Note: Compatible with Osmo+ and Zenmuse Z3 Camera ONLY
